If you see the error [ERROR]: HVCI (Memory Integrity) is DISABLED on your system when launching the game, this guide will walk you through enabling it.
What is HVCI / Memory Integrity?
HVCI stands for Hypervisor-Enforced Code Integrity. It is a Windows security feature (also called Memory Integrity or Core Isolation) that uses your CPU's virtualization support to verify that every driver and kernel module loaded into Windows is digitally signed and unmodified.
Cheats and hacks rely on injecting unsigned or modified drivers into the Windows kernel. By requiring HVCI to be enabled, Silent GameGuard ensures that no such tampering can occur on your system, keeping the game fair for everyone.
WARNING: Enabling Memory Integrity may cause system instability or prevent certain incompatible drivers from loading. Proceed at your own risk. Silent GameGuard and the server administrators are NOT responsible for any system issues resulting from enabling this feature.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open Windows Security
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard and type "Windows Security".
- Click the Windows Security app to open it.
Step 2: Navigate to Device Security
- In the left sidebar (or main menu), click "Device security".
Step 3: Open Core Isolation Details
- Under the "Core isolation" section, click "Core isolation details".
Step 4: Enable Memory Integrity
- Find the "Memory integrity" toggle.
- Click it to switch to ON.
- Windows may prompt for an admin password or a UAC confirmation, accept it.
Step 5: Restart Your PC
- The change takes effect only after a reboot.
- Save your work, close all applications, and restart Windows.
Step 6: Launch the Game
- After the reboot, run the launcher again. The HVCI check will now pass and you can play normally.
Troubleshooting
The Memory Integrity Toggle is Greyed Out
This is the most common problem. The cause is usually one of these three:
1. Virtualization is disabled in BIOS
- Restart your PC and press Del, F2, or F10 (depending on motherboard) during boot to enter BIOS/UEFI.
- For Intel CPUs find: Intel Virtualization Technology, VT-x, or Intel VT.
- For AMD CPUs find: SVM Mode, AMD-V, or AMD Virtualization.
- Set it to Enabled.
- Save and exit BIOS (usually F10).
- Boot into Windows and try again.
2. An Incompatible Driver is Installed
- When the toggle is greyed out, Windows usually shows a "Review incompatible drivers" link below it.
- Click it to see which drivers are blocking HVCI.
- Common culprits: old printer/scanner drivers, outdated VPN client drivers, anti-cheat drivers from other games (Vanguard, EAC, BattlEye remnants), old MSI Afterburner / RTSS drivers, old virtual audio cable drivers.
- Uninstall the listed drivers, restart, and try the toggle again.
3. Hyper-V Components Are Missing
- Press Windows key and type "Turn Windows features on or off".
- Make sure these are checked: Virtual Machine Platform, Windows Hypervisor Platform.
- Click OK, restart, and try the toggle again.
I Enabled It But Still Get the Error
- Verify HVCI is actually running. Press Windows key + R, type msinfo32, press Enter.
- Scroll down to the line "Virtualization-based security Services Running".
- You should see "Hypervisor enforced Code Integrity" listed.
- If it is listed but the game still complains, restart your PC one more time and try again.
- If it is NOT listed, the toggle did not take effect, go back through the troubleshooting steps above.
My PC Will Not Boot After Enabling HVCI
Rare, but possible if you have an incompatible kernel driver. Boot into Safe Mode:
- Force shutdown the PC (hold power button) three times during boot, Windows will enter recovery.
- Choose Troubleshoot, then Advanced options, then Startup Settings, then Restart.
- Press 4 for Safe Mode.
- In Safe Mode, open Windows Security and turn Memory Integrity OFF.
- Restart normally, identify the problem driver, then re-enable HVCI.
Still Having Issues?
Open a support ticket and include:
- A screenshot of the error window.
- Your SGGuard.log file (located in the game folder).
- The output of msinfo32 (File menu, Export to txt).
